日历

惠灵顿维多利亚大学 日历 is a yearly publication which provides key academic information 和 general information about the University.

The 日历 contains the main academic statutes 和 policies, including the statutes for each qualification. A complete set of the University's statutes, policies 和 procedures is available on the 政策网站.

The publication of the calendar is managed by the 学术办公室.

评估手册

Assessment plays a fundamental role in achieving the University’s core mission of excellence in 教学 和 research. Assessment is not simply a process of comparing performance against st和ards.

In addition to allowing students an opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge 和 skills they have acquired, assessment gives students the opportunity to refine 和 deepen their knowledge through analysis 和 feedback provided by staff.

The 评估手册 contains policies 和 procedures relating to the administration of academic assessment. The policies have been approved by the 学术委员会 和 apply to all courses taught at 惠灵顿维多利亚大学.

课程大纲

All students should receive a Course Outline for every course they enrol in at 惠灵顿维多利亚大学. Course outlines (which may be provided electronically or in hard copy) follow a st和ard format 和 include details of the course content 和 delivery, including learning objectives 和 details of how these will be assessed.

学术的不满

The University's academic grievance procedures are there to help students who have experienced problems relating to academic quality or academic advice.

例如, if a student thinks that he/she has been treated un相当 or that the course information has been misleading, he/she can apply for an academic grievance.

疾病诊断书

An aegrotat is a consideration of how much a student has learned in the course work completed before the exam or final assessment. 学生 may apply for an aegrotat pass if their preparation for, 的表现, or ability to attend an exam or complete an assessment due in the last three weeks of 教学 is impaired, 因为生病, injury or other serious circumstances beyond their control. To be granted an aegrotat pass, students need to have done well in their previous course work.

剽窃

剽窃 is when someone presents the work of someone else as if it were their own, 无论有意无意. It undermines 学术诚信 simply because it is a form of cheating.

This is why 剽窃 is not tolerated at the University. Academic staff 和 students are expected to behave honestly, 相当, 和 with respect for others at all times.

A special pass may be awarded to a student who misses or arrives too late for an examination. A c和idate should fill in a declaration for a special pass along with an Academic Profile.

The student must apply directly to the Faculty Manager of the relevant Faculty.
